To earn guaranteed admission to Florida Atlantic University following one semester abroad with Verto, you will need:
- A high school GPA of 3.0+
- A standardized test score of 1060+ SAT, 21+ ACT, or 66+ CLT
- 2.5+ College GPA
- Minimum 12 college credits
Admission is only guaranteed as long as Florida Atlantic has capacity available.
To earn guaranteed admission to Florida Atlantic University following one year abroad with Verto, you will need:
- 2.5+ College GPA
- Minimum 30 college credits
- 1 College English and College Math with a C or better OR a standardized test score of 1060+ SAT, 21+ ACT, or 66+ CLT
If you do not have a standardized test score of ACT 21+, SAT 1060+ or CLT 66+, you should be sure to enroll in both a College English and College Math course during your first semester abroad with Verto.
Please note that if you complete a full year with Verto but do not earn 30+ credits, you will need to meet the one semester pathway requirements.

Admission to Florida Atlantic University does not guarantee entrance to certain selective admissions majors. Additional admission requirements are necessary for the following majors:

- Charles E. Schmidt College of Science
- College of Engineering and Computer Science
Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College

Yes! Florida Atlantic welcomes both fall and spring transfers from Verto, as long as they meet the admission requirements that apply based on their number of earned credits. See the one semester and full year pathway options FAQs for more information.
You are still eligible for the Direct Transfer guarantee to Florida Atlantic! The 2.5 GPA requirement and credit minimums is cumulative of all college transcripts.
You would be eligible for Direct Transfer if you meet the requirements and follow the document submission guidance as listed on the Florida Atlantic website as well as meeting all Direct Transfer pathway requirements (either one semester or full year).
While you won’t be eligible for the guarantee, we still encourage you to work with your Verto Care Team to prepare and submit a Verto Partner Application for holistic review.
Verto staff will be your first point of contact as you explore the Direct Transfer Pathway to Florida Atlantic.

Once you arrive to your Verto location, you can begin working with Verto staff to prepare your application to Florida Atlantic. Applications are typically sent following mid-terms, so your mid-term report can demonstrate your progress towards Direct Transfer eligibility.
Once your application has been received and processed by Florida Atlantic, you will receive an email acknowledgment to the email listed in your Verto Partner Application. This will prompt you to create a Florida Atlantic application portal to track the status of your admissions decision. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

You are able to defer your acceptance to Florida Atlantic for the following semester. Email this form to [email protected] and CC your Verto Academic Success Coordinator.
We expect future FAU-Verto students to maintain a 12-credit caseload while with Verto Education.
In order to successfully matriculate at FAU, you will need to maintain a 2.5 or higher GPA during your semester with Verto Education.
Once you are abroad with Verto, Verto staff will support you in submitting an abbreviated version of the Verto Partner Application to confirm your interest and provide your midterm grades.
In order to secure your Spring enrollment at Florida Atlantic University, submit a $200 non-refundable enrollment deposit due September 30, 2025.

Yes, you can! To do so:
- You will need to continue to maintain a GPA of 2.5 and meet all Direct Transfer requirements.
- During your spring semester abroad with Verto, you will submit the full version of the Verto Partner Application to FAU.
- Contact Dr. Laura Antczak, Director of Transfer Recruitment and Link2FAU at [email protected] to receive a Change of Entry form to submit to FAU.
You should email [email protected] to notify the FAU Office of Admission that you do not plan to attend and to have your admission application canceled. If you are no longer interested in attending FAU after Verto we recommend you work with your Verto Care Team to finalize alternate plans.
